The PICSI method, also known as physiological ICSI, is a kind of sperm screening that takes the sperm’s stage of maturity into effect. Using this method, spermatozoa can be chosen based on how well they can adhere to a synthetic molecule that has qualities comparable to hyaluronic acid.Hyaluronic acid (HA), a crucial component of the cluster containing the oocytes, has a particular receptor in the head of the mature sperm. Those sperm that cling to HA have finished spermatogenesis, including the processes of nuclear maturation, cytoplasmic extrusion, and plasma membrane remodeling.
