NUTRITIONAL PROFILE OF GREEN TEA

The same Camellia sinensis leaves used to make normal tea are used to make green tea. Green tea leaves, however, go through less oxidation and processing than black tea leaves. Because to their low oxidation, they retain their distinctive green color and are a rich source of polyphones and antioxidants.

To preserve the healthy ingredients in green tea, it’s critical to properly brew the beverage. For the best weight reduction outcomes, make green tea according to the steps below:

  • 250 ml of water should be heated till boiling.
  • Pour the water into a cup and let it to cool for a few minutes, until it reaches an approximate temperature of 85°C.
  • To the water, add a tablespoon (2 g) of green tea leaves or a green tea bag.
  • Strain the liquid to get rid of the tea leaves after letting the leaves or tea bag soak for three to four minutes.
  • You may add lemon, ginger, mint, or any other flavorings you want.

Avoid using sweets since they can counteract green tea’s ability to help you lose weight.
