How does INVOcell work?

After your egg retrieval, we place your eggs into the inner cylinder of the INVOcell culture device with sperm. The small plastic INVOcell device will then be placed into the upper third of your vagina, comfortably cradled by a soft retention cap.Those eggs and sperm will grow in a nutrient-rich culture media inside that culture device, and fertilization and early embryo development will occur. On Day 5, we will remove the INVOcell device in an exam room connected to our Embryology Lab. The small INVOcell device will be handed to one of our embryologists. They will then look under a high-powered microscope for embryos in the inner chamber of the INVOcell.
