For people undergoing IVF, exercise is also a crucial component.  Regular exercise improves your general mental, physical, and emotional health in addition to promoting conception. Exercise is crucial at any stage, especially while trying to conceive, as it is one of the primary pillars of having a healthy life along with eating correctly.

  • Improved blood flow and circulation: Exercises like yoga and other low-intensity activities can assist improve blood circulation, ensuring that your reproductive organs receive blood that is rich in oxygen and nutrients. Exercise-induced increases in blood flow and circulation may benefit fertility, ovulation, and menstrual cycles.
  • Improved ability to manage stress/reduces stress: Stress and fertility are closely intertwined, and stress can have a variety of effects on both male and female body functions. High levels of cortisol and alpha-amylase made women 29% less likely to become pregnant each month and twice as likely to receive an infertility diagnosis.
